The Success Cycle via NSBE

Saturday, December 12, 2020 | 11:00 - 12:30 am | MS & HS Students

The Success Cycle Workshop is designed to equip students with the tools and resources they need to succeed both personally and professionally. This interactive workshop will focus on how to use visualization techniques, create and manage SMART goals, receive feedback, and develop strategies for success. During the workshop, attendees will engage in a facilitated discussion along with practical application opportunities. Students will need a pen or pencil and access to printer to print workbook (optional).

ForEx 101

December, 2020

Students will start to learn more about the Foreign Exchange and how to start making an income off of it. This will be an introduction to our ForEx Junior Program    

Math Quiz Bowl: Virtual Edition

The Math Quiz Bowl aims to prepared students for the ACT/SAT and other math benchmarks. This year we will do the Math Quiz Bowl in a Kahoot Format. Students in grades 7th - 12th will be able to prepare for the competition by looking at the competition slides from the pass. The individual who gets the most points will win a prize for themselves and their team.

Engineer For a Day

December 12, 2020 at 11:00 am | 3rd to 5th Grade Students

Engineer For a Day is our annual experience for 3rd to 8th grade students to learn about the joys of being an Engineer and Scientist and other STEM disciplines. Students within the Virtual Engineer For a Day will complete different labs and learn about all of the wonder ways engineers create and design things on a daily basis. This year, our 3rd to 5th Grade Students will learn about Engineering and complete hands on virtual labs while our 6th to 8th grade students will do a Workshop with NSBE during this time.
